SPRITE ZERO SUGAR X WAKANDA FOREVER
With the pressures of today’s world to reach success earlier and earlier, Sprite Zero Sugar teamed up with Marvel’s Wakanda Forever to let young creators know there’s time.
Take a breather, relax and “give your gift a chance to find you”
We started with with the bottle, making it a portal to find your gift. With one scan,
users were taken on a journey by a member of the Dora Milaje to begin their discovery.
After being greeted by a series of prompts users were led to 3 short form videos* Each being a female woman of color who worked on Black Panther and Wakanda Forever. With this, users had a chance to get inspired through each path presented and ultimately learn that putting the best '“you” out in the world is what creates your destiny.
Videos featured below are long form versions
This video features Hannah Beachler. An Oscar award winning Production Designer whose work speaks directly from the African-American point of view. From creating imaginary worlds on the beach as a child to creating the world of Wakanda and its history, Hannah’s story is one of inspiration and confidence that reminds us that creativity comes from within.
This video features Jasmine Alexia. A young Storyboard Artist whose work creates the world she wants to see. From navigating sets as a young black woman to learning how to fight to draw the perfect shot, Jasmine’s story is one of resilience and a just do it attitude that reminds us to have no fear when pursuing your dreams.
This video features Alicia Diaz. A Sculptor whose work is literally out of this world. From giant eggs to alien bones Alicia’s tear jerking story is a true hero’s tale of never giving up and taking leaps of faith when the world seems to be against you.
Users were then given the opportunity to explore The Hall of Zero Limits that featured long form versions of each video. Here, users were able to experience the campaign as a whole while getting that much closer to their gift.
